Diet

Kibble

Did you know kibble is a highly processed diet? It’s has been likened to eating cereal every morning without milk. Dogs Naturally writes about it . Here is a brief history of kibble from the Animal Wellness Magazine.

Wolf DNA

Having 98.9% DNA of a wolf, it only stands to reason their diet should be as close to the wolf's as possible.

Transitioning from Kibble to Raw

If you want to learn more about raw feeding and how to transition your dog to this diet, make sure to talk to your local raw provider. They will be glad to help you. You can also connect with Isabelle at HoliRaw Nutrition for help.

Know that to start, transition using one protein, usually beef, until your dog's stools are normal. Then, you can start adding another protein to the beef until you've completely transitioned to the new protein. Once the stool is fine, transition to a different protein. This is Raw Dog Food for Beginners by Homesalive to help you out as well.

What a Difference

You’ll see a big difference in the wellness of your dog. Their coats will shine too!

Water

And, of course, ensure they have access to fresh water at all times.
