Easy-going Edison is looking for a new home!
Edison (Eddie) is a friendly 2 year old (approx.) neutered male Pyrenees mix, who landed with the SPCA as a stray. He weighs about 80 lbs. We do not know his breed mix, but speculate that he may be part Lab or Golden Retriever. He is a healthy boy.
Eddie is gentle and quiet, and loves to meet people and charm them into petting him. He likes children and is calm and tolerant with them. Eddie gets along well with other dogs. However, if there is another dog in the home, it should be female as not all male with males or females with females will see eye-to-eye.
Eddie loves to hang out outside but will roam if given the opportunity, so a securely fenced yard is a must. In the house, Eddie is quiet and impeccably well-mannered, snoozing near his owner and greeting visitors calmly. He rarely barks.
Eddie is a medium-energy dog – a couple of 20 to 30 minute walks a day will keep him healthy and happy!
Eddie adapts easily to a new routine, and responds well to positive reinforcement-based training.
A prerequisite to adopting Eddie is signing up for either Home School the Dog or Recallers to ensure you have the best chance at success with him.
