Milo the annoying

by Jeanette
(Northern Illinois usa )

Milo discovered how to open the cabinet and his food bin to lay on his side and gobble as fast as he can . And then fall asleep with his head in the food bin. He was burping farting and groaning. Lol. He's fine but it's funny.

Maybe could safety latches will work I've not tried yet.

Milo is pyr x St. Bernard x white lab . In December of 2017 he'll be 3. He has lived with us a little over a year. He is my daughter s service dog he alerts her of seizure in advance so she will not fall and hit her head.

Great dog but a royal pig . Ha ha

fat as a pig

You should be locking that cupboard door.
Being fat is a real health hazard for Milo. So, do him a favour and restrict his gluttony...he will live longer, be more mobile and be an able service dog for your daughter. Dogs, just like people, should not get into a bad habit of boredom eating.

Found a solution
by: Jeanettej

Took a while and some experimenting . I put a padlock on a spare bedroom door and keep his food and cat food inside this room. He often checks to see if a clicked the padlock , if I forget he opens the loose lock so I remember. Vet said hisnweight is ok.
